FOMAS is a non-profit organization established to help preserve, restore and furnish the mansion in the time period that H. B. Smith resided at Smithville (1865-1887).

We provide historical guided tours of the Mansion and grounds from May through October.  We reopen for our fabulous Victorian Christmas Tours in December.  In December, the rooms are decorated by local garden clubs and groups based on a unique theme each year.  We give daily tours during this special season, along with Candlelight Tours and delicious Teas.   During the regular tour season you receive a full tour of period decorated rooms and hear the fascinating history of Smithville.  Both the lower and upstairs rooms are open.

We  also open the Mansion for special walk-through tours when the Burlington County Parks host events during the spring, summer and fall.

If you have an interest in volunteering in a small or large way, we would love to have you join us.  We need volunteers to give tours of the Mansion, help serve at our Teas and Candlelight Tours, do occasional baking, donate items for sale at our gift shop, and help with our gardens (planting, weeding, watering).  Your help would be greatly appreciated.
